00:00Do you think that's had a bit of an impact on injuries for not only you, but other players

00:07just having to go play such a wild schedule, which I would like for you to walk us through

00:11on kind of where you have to go to play on the LPGA Tour?

00:15Yeah, I mean, fatigue plays a huge role, right?

00:19If you're tired and whatever, your whole body feels it and we do play a decent amount.

00:25I mean, there's times when we were playing an event in Jersey, and then we had a major

00:31the following week in Seattle, and then the following week we were in Ohio, like, you

00:37literally what's going on, and you're flying red eyes, right?

00:43Because you need to be there for Monday practice rounds, especially a major.

00:47You need to be able to get out on the golf course and play it a couple of times.

00:52It's not like you can just fly in on Monday and play it on Tuesday and Wednesday, and

00:55then you're done.

00:58So yeah, definitely fatigue played a big role, but I mean, when I started in 2011, we didn't

01:04have too many events.

01:05We only had 24 events.

01:07As a rookie, I played 15.

01:09I finished 90th on the money list with $50,000.

01:12Yeah, not a lot.

01:15And I traveled outside, I like had to go to the British Open and do the Monday qualifier

01:20and like qualify for that, and I'll never forget.

01:24I mean, they're great memories, but it was very stressful because like the playing opportunities

01:29were not what they needed to be.

01:32And somehow, some way with Mike's leadership and all the players on tour, like we were

01:38able to get-

01:39Mike's great.

01:40I played golf with him recently.

01:41He's an awesome guy.

01:42He is.

01:43We got our tour to, I think we were playing like 33 events in 14 different countries,

01:50but we went to like every Pro-Am, we wrote thank you cards, we got to know a lot of our

01:57tournament sponsors, the tournament directors, and you have like, it was more like a family

02:03aspect of it where we were just grateful that they were putting money into the tour.

02:10And then, yeah, the travel was insane.

02:14I think I went like five or six weeks in Asia, because that's just what we had to do, and

02:21you're playing like Malaysia where it's so hot, and then you go to Korea where it was

02:24like almost snowing.

02:25How do you pack?

02:26You pack?

02:27Okay, I'm just-

02:28Are you a professional packer?

02:29Are you-

02:30I'm a terrible over-packer.

02:31I am literally the one that always has everything.

02:32One of my nicknames is Mama Jess, and literally if anybody's missing anything, I had it.

02:44I had two massive suitcases, completely overweight.

02:47I stuffed my golf bag with stuff.

02:50I felt bad for anybody lifting my clubs up.

02:52I would literally send balls to my caddy, because there were times where we had to travel

02:55with our own balls and gloves and stuff, and so I'm just sending my caddy balls, gloves

03:01and towels, and I'm like, this is your job.

03:03I just do not have the room for it.

03:06So I had two suitcases.

03:07I don't have the pounds for it.

03:09Yes, exactly.

03:10I was like two suitcases, a carry-on, and a golf bag, and that's how I traveled to Asia,

03:16basically.

03:17Yeah.

03:18Wow.

03:19Yeah.
