00:04Now it was bad enough that Joe Burrow's house got robbed while he was in Dallas for Monday

00:10Night Football on Monday night, but then there was like a nonstop fever to get every single

00:16detail of the robbery out into the public, including his lady friend that I guess called

00:24the robbery in.

00:25Apparently Joe was not a fan of not only being robbed, but of how people basically

00:32found all the details of his house robbery.

00:35Here's Joe Burrow.

00:36I'll start out by saying something before any questions today.

00:40So obviously everybody has heard what has happened.

00:45I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one, and way more is already

00:51out there than I would want out there and that I care to share.

00:55So that's all I got to say about that.

00:57It's part of it.

00:59It's, uh, yeah, this, you know, we live a public life and, you know, one of my least

01:07favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy and that has been difficult for me to deal

01:14with my entire career.

01:16Still learning, but I understand it's the life that we choose doesn't make it any easier

01:23to deal with.

01:24Fair enough.

01:25But, you know, cry me a river when you are a superstar athlete and you choose that path

01:34to be an athlete and you're a star player and you are paid what you are paid.

01:40There is no avoiding it, kid.

01:42It's just that simple.

01:43You, the lack of privacy.

01:46Good luck.

01:47They'll never be privacy when you're famous.

01:50That's it.

01:51It's over.

01:52You're never going to get it.

01:53You can try all you want and they're still going to pry into your life.

01:56They're going to follow you.

01:58They're going to bother you.

02:00You're going to get hounded no matter what.

02:02And here's another thing, OK?

02:04It's one thing to be famous and to be a star quarterback in the NFL, which is automatic

02:09fame and fortune.

02:11It's another thing when you show up at the Met Gala wearing, you know, the suitless back,

02:18you know what I mean?

02:19And then showing up at games with your fashion statements and your red carpet looks, trying

02:26desperately to gain more fame and attention with your fashion and your hair and your hair

02:32tips and your fancy clothes.

02:34And you're at the Met Gala like you're just asking for it.

02:38Like are you kidding me?

02:40Here's the deal.

02:42When when I saw Mario Lemieux get drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 80s, this

02:50guy was so private, he wouldn't even talk to anyone.

02:53He wouldn't talk to the media.

02:55He pretended like he was French.

02:57He really didn't know English, but he ran with that for 12 years.

03:02He just wasn't approachable.

03:04He never went out in public or did anything ever.

03:07You couldn't get near him.

03:11You could cover him as a reporter in Pittsburgh at the arena, and that was it.

03:15After a game, you could ask him a question or two.

03:18That was it.

03:19They literally never let anyone near him.

03:22And I think this guy is incredible, but I think he's asking for it the way he lives.

03:28Let's just face facts.

03:29I mean, it's every week he shows up with some outfit on looking for attention.

03:35Like, you know, you see Mike Tomlin the way he rolls into a stadium.

03:39Guy shows up in sweats with a cup of coffee.

03:42Nobody cares about you when you're wearing sweats and you got a cup of Joe in your hand.

03:47But when you dress like Joe Burrow does in silk clothes and his, you know, fancy movie

03:53theater outfit he had on the other day, Mike, you can't tell me I'm wrong.

03:58He's like, he thinks he's a movie star.

04:00He thinks he's a fashionista.

04:02I don't want to hear it.

04:03He asks for the attention.

04:05He's begging for it.
