00:31Like, Belichick's going to go, yeah, you know what, let's run these zone blitz read packages

00:36on him and see how he can pick this up.

00:38Like, Belichick's going to throw the kids in the sink at some of these kids.

00:43Like I said, I wouldn't want to be an opposing coach and or quarterback, because from an

00:49X and O perspective, he's going to carve you up.

00:52And the thing about Bill Belichick is, I've always said this about coach, that he is one

00:58of the greatest coaches of all time.

01:00There's no one going to dispute that.

01:02His problem in New England was Bill Belichick's not a great general manager.

01:07Right?

01:08Belichick sort of got that attitude that I can win with anybody.

01:12You know, it doesn't matter.

01:14Is it Wes Welker or whoever the hell it is, or Edelman, whatever, like, you're all just

01:18like sort of pieces on a chessboard to me.

01:22I don't really, that was sort of the thing with him.

01:26Like when they said, oh, you know, did you miss Julian Edelman?

01:28He goes, ah, we've always had success at the slot position.

01:31Like I could plug anybody in.

01:33And then he pushed his luck in believing that he could do it without Tom Brady.

01:38Right?

01:39Brady didn't want to leave Foxborough.

01:40Right?

01:41Belichick kind of pushed him out, like just point blank.

01:45Belichick was the one.

01:46And we had Tom Brady Sr. on SportsRage years ago.

01:50And I remember Tom Sr. said, he said, you know, said Tom won't finish his career with

01:55the Patriots.

01:56And it was kind of big news at the time when he said it.

01:57I said, wow, why?

01:58Really?

01:59I said, you know, he won't finish his career with the Patriots?

02:01He goes, no.

02:02He goes, Bill, we'll push him out and Tom will want to keep on playing.
