How should the Cowboys prepare to replace DeMarvion Overshown?

DeMarvion Overshown of the Dallas Cowboys suffered a season ending injury during Monday night Football against the Bengals. The best plan for the Cowboys moving forward is to focus on getting a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick that can replace him. It is crucial that they think ahead and prepare for Overshown not to return which is contrary to how they usually operate; they are typically optimistic in these situations. Is it in the best interest of the Cowboys to embrace a different approach when having to replace a key player?
