Selangor's revenue collection hit RM2.593 bil as of Dec 9, 2024, says Amirudin

Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari on Wednesday (Dec 11), said that  as of Dec 9, Selangor had recorded a revenue collection of RM2.593 billion, which is 118 per cent of the 2024 revenue collection target of RM2.2 billion. 00:13Last year, the contribution of the Islamic State to the export of raw materials to Malaysia

00:19continued to increase to 25.9%.

01:33the Malaysia Semiconductor IC Design Park 2 successful

01:38and hoping for a successful opportunity with the success of IC Design Park 1 in Kuching.

01:45This initiative is a result of the full cooperation and mutual understanding

01:49between your government and the Islamic State,

01:52which wants to increase the value of the economy

01:54and opportunities for high-paying jobs

01:57to achieve export value of more than Rp100 billion in this industry by 2030.

02:04In the field of artificial intelligence that is experiencing a global boom,

02:08your government is facing this challenge by starting cooperation

02:12with the leading company, Google,

02:15through the Gemini product in the Sandbox concept

02:18to improve the government's service system

02:21as well as the value and capability of entrepreneurs in the Islamic State.

02:28it is very important for your government

02:30to always improve the impact and quality of service

02:33in the process of using new technologies

02:37so that it is more efficient for the investment community and industry

02:40that wants to invest in the Islamic State.

02:43As such, your government will launch the Islamic State Speed Basis in April 2025

02:49which will provide a boost to the new industry such as artificial intelligence,

02:54the semiconductor support industry, including electricity and electronics,

03:03and the high-tech manufacturing sector.

03:06The Islamic State Speed Basis will use fast-track, self-regulation,

03:11industrial green lanes, and technologies such as digital twin

03:18up to 3.5 months to only 7 to 14 days

03:23for the construction of the established criteria.

03:28In addition, for the planned industrial areas

03:31that have reached 80% of the projected growth,

03:34the approval of the business license can be given within 24 hours

03:39after the Certificate of Completion and Compliance, or CCC, is issued.
