800 Crore assets seized from Trasport Commissioner's residence

Anti-Corruption Bureau officials have arrested a deputy transport commissioner in Andhra Pradesh after conducting raids that unearthed assets worth a whopping Rs 800 crores. A. Mohan, the IAS officer, has been remanded for two weeks by the Vijayawada ACB court. The document value of Mohan's properties is reportedly Rs 100 crore to Rs 120 crore. Precious gems, diamonds and other valuables were also found in the houses of Mohan and his relatives. ACB officials said that several bank lockers were yet to be opened and searched.
