00:00DILG is asking the local government to evacuate the families who are in the 6km danger zone from Vulcan Canloon.

00:08Ryan Lesigues is in the center of the news to help the vulnerable sectors that are being watched.

00:17DILG immediately ordered the local government units or LGUs to evacuate the residents who are living in the 4 to 6km permanent danger zone.

00:27This is after the eruption of Vulcan Canloon this day and the volcano was elevated to Alert Level 3.

00:33The evacuation of the vulnerable sectors including the elderly, children and the elderly is a particular priority.

00:43At the same time, DILG Secretary John V. Cremulia also ordered to immediately distribute food and non-food items,

00:50even personal protective equipment.

00:53Critical teams like search and rescue, evacuation and medical services should also be on standby

01:00for immediate deployment to high-risk areas.

01:03DILG is now ordering the local chief executives to declare a state of calamity, suspension of classes, jobs and others if necessary.

01:14Meanwhile, DILG Secretary Rex Gatchalian ordered to continue to provide assistance to all affected by the eruption of Vulcan Canloon.

01:25He declared a state of emergency on his trip yesterday to Negros Island to know the situation and needs of the affected residents.

01:33According to Gatchalian, this is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

01:39that DILG will provide food, clean water and other necessities to the families evacuated.

01:46DILG will also continue to provide assistance to local government units to ensure the well-being of our countrymen in evacuation centers.

01:57The mobile command center of DILG Western Visayas has arrived in La Castellena, Negros Occidental

02:04hoping to expedite the service to the affected families.

02:08The mobile command center of DSWD Central Visayas was brought to Canlaon City.

02:14Aside from its advanced communication technology,

02:17the MCC can supply electricity and internet connection to the residents.
