00:05I think the last time we talked, we had Alabama in the playoff.

00:08They are now out.

00:09That great game between Clemson and SMU really determined the fate of them as SMU is in and

00:15Alabama really has nothing to do except for complain.

00:18But what is there to complain about?

00:19They lost three games and you know, I kind of understand the committee's thinking on

00:23this.

00:24Yeah, because they didn't set a bad precedent.

00:26They put Alabama in over SMU.

00:29They're basically telling the ACC, your regular season did not matter at all.

00:34And SMU won all eight games in the regular season in conference play.

00:38Had a nice comeback in the second half.

00:40I'm going to be honest, Craig, if Alabama and SMU played each other in the first round,

00:45I would pick Alabama to win that football game.

00:48But there has to be consequences for losing the games.

00:51And that 24-3 loss to Oklahoma probably was the dagger for Alabama because we know how

00:59inconsistent they were on the road.

01:01SMU deserves to be in.

01:02I was happy how happy Davo Sweeney was for SMU.

01:08I heard that story that he was cheering that.

01:10So good for the ACC.

01:11But SMU will definitely be monitored very closely by those in Oxford and Columbia and

01:17Tuscaloosa in the playoff.
