00:00We don't think that a few weeks ago, when we looked at this map, we would have anticipated

00:08Minnesota being such a big favorite over the Atlanta Falcons because it was just a few

00:12weeks ago or maybe a month, the Falcons looked like they were one of the teams to beat maybe

00:16in the NFC.

00:17But things have just gone really south both on offense and defense, five and a half point

00:22favorites at home.

00:23I know the Vikings don't score a lot.

00:24So it's kind of hard for them to cover these numbers.

00:26But it's also really hard to back Atlanta with what's going on with quarterback with

00:31them.

00:32Kirk Cousins, Matt, like, is he hurt?

00:35Like it's really bizarre watching him play right now.

00:37I know he's had stretches over the course of his career.

00:40So we really shouldn't be shocked.

00:42But six interceptions, no touchdowns over his last three games.

00:47What gives here?

00:48Yeah, that's a good question.

00:49I think a lot of Falcons fans would like to figure that out, you know, maybe going back

00:53to where he played for so long and facing his former team will, will revitalize him

00:58a little bit.

00:59You know, I, the way I look at this too, though, is it's Kirk Cousins, and he's had bad stretches.

01:04And then he's been great.

01:06And even very early in the year, you know, his first game wasn't great, came back his

01:10second game looked good, let a game winning drive, then had that monster Thursday night

01:14game.

01:15He's kind of one of those quarterbacks, he'll be playing indoors.

01:17I think that's always good for him too.

01:19But the bottom line is the Vikings.

01:22You know, I think a lot of people have been doubting them all year.

01:24A lot of people have been waiting for the, the other shoe to fall.

01:27They've been waiting for them to start losing more games, and they just never have.

01:31They're a very good team.

01:32They're one of the best defenses in the NFL, Sam Darnold's playing great.

01:36He had that little bout of red zone interceptions himself seems to have come out of that a little

01:41bit.

01:42They run well, they pass well, they're well coached.

01:45I mean, they're really a very solid team.

01:48And getting, getting the Falcons who are kind of reeling right now, getting them at

01:51home, it's really tough to pick against them, even if those numbers overall seem a little

01:57high.

01:58I, you know, I definitely take a second look at the numbers cause I don't think the Falcons

02:01are just going to lay down.

02:02I don't think Kirk Cousins is just washed, but I do think the Vikings are just the better

02:07team here and they have all the advantages going into this one.
