00:00Pastor Apolo Quiboloy's camp is studying not to continue their appeal to transfer the pastor to Camp Cramez in Quezon City from Pasig City Jail.

00:09According to the Israeli Tutorion, Pasig Regional Trial Court has not yet acted on their motion for reconsideration.

00:18Instead of transferring the prisoner, Quiboloy's camp will only ask for permission to let medical personnel enter his cell if necessary.

00:28Since November 27, in Pasig City Jail, Quiboloy has been in prison following orders of Pasig RTC.

00:36He is facing child and sexual abuse charges and qualified human trafficking charges that he previously denied.

04:24More than 5 million sacks of rice are wasted every year according to a study.

04:31That's why the Department of Agriculture is encouraging the sale of half-rice for food.

04:47But sometimes, it's a waste of rice.

04:51In this restaurant, a plastic sack of rice is wasted every day.

04:56In our everyday life, we have at least half rice.

05:03Or sometimes, one full.

05:05In another study, it was found that more or less 6.5 grams of rice is wasted by a Filipino every day.

05:13Even though it's just more than a tablespoon,

05:15if it's combined, it will reach 255,000 metric tons of rice per year.

05:21Or equivalent to more than 5 million sacks.

05:24So if we combine it with all the population during that year,

05:28it can feed 2.79 million Filipinos for a year.

05:33Nanay Rosy feels bad when she sees leftover rice.

05:43To avoid food wastage, the Department of Agriculture is supporting

05:48the program to have a half-rice serving in restaurants and karenderia like this.

05:53For the record, the Secretary wants to revive the bill that offers half-rice.

05:59For example, the 255,000 metric tons at Php 43 per kilo,

06:06that will translate to about Php 3.6 billion worth of rice annually.

06:14So that's a big fund.

06:16As of now, according to FieldRice, there are 47 local ordinances

06:21for the sale of half-rice to restaurants.

06:24But the company says it's a nationwide target.

06:27Even to the government agencies,

06:29before there is an executive order to promote the sale of half-rice to restaurants across the country.

06:35Those who have talked to the rice vendors are in favor.
