00:00The four senior high school graduates who were supposed to graduate from Baras-Rizal were unfortunately taken to the hospital.

00:08Two of them were dead on arrival at the hospital after drowning.

00:17This happened in Ungga Falls, Barangay San Salvador, Baras-Rizal, around 3 p.m. on Monday.

00:24Authorities are trying to find the two men who drowned after going to the deep part of the falls.

00:31Due to the high water level, the rescuers had a hard time finding the victims.

00:37It took a few more hours before the victims were able to get out of the water.

00:42According to the police investigation, four senior high school graduates were allowed to swim in Ungga Falls

00:49after they obtained their medical certificate for their work immersion.

00:54One of them immediately jumped into the water and went to the deep part of the falls.

00:58He tried to save his classmate, but he also drowned.

01:02We saw him calling and asking for his grandfather.

01:07He asked his classmate to help him.

01:12They both went to the deep part of the falls.

01:15Unfortunately, these four classmates were not able to swim.

01:23They were declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

01:25The victims were 17 and 18 years old.

01:28The man who drowned was his friend, John Mike Paschon,

01:34a resident of Antipolo City, Barangay Kupang.

01:36He was only three months old when he graduated.

01:40He was the eldest of two siblings.

01:42It was very painful.

01:44He was already gone, but he was not able to save one of his siblings.

03:33at Camp Krames in Quezon City last night.

03:35Yesterday, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, or CIDG,

03:39arrested an illegal recruiter.

03:41The suspect, Omanoh, was the first suspect.

03:45His modus was to collect money from victims

03:47in exchange for a life in Canada as a skilled worker or farmer.

03:51But eventually, they found out that there was no flight

03:53and no job waiting for them.

03:55Last night, the suspect was arrested in a bypass operation

03:57while he was receiving money from one of the victims.

04:00Most people can see this online, through Facebook.

04:06It has a platform.

04:07Others can see it through referral.

04:10It's shocking because he's not a licensed recruiter

04:15given by the authority of our Department of Migrant Workers.

04:25He's a court-inducted in our intravenous operation

04:28where he's asking for money from other people

04:33whom he promised he would send to Canada.

04:38Suspects are asking for P120,000 to P160,000 for each victim.

05:49The police is not yet facing the suspect who received money from the entrapment

05:52because of their ongoing follow-up operation

05:54and the investigation if this is an organized group

05:57because some of his accomplices are still at large.

06:00For now, the suspect is facing an illegal recruitment case.

06:03We are calling on our countrymen to be careful

06:09especially when applying to other countries

06:11because there are many who are getting recognized as legit recruiters

06:18but they are not licensed by the Department of Migrant Worker.

06:31The Department of Agriculture plans to sell rice to some supermarkets and convenience stores
