00:36that the way South Carolina finished the season, that maybe they should be included in the

00:42playoff.

00:43Here's what Shane Beamer, their head coach, thinks.

00:45I do believe we deserve a spot in the 12-team playoff.

00:48To me, it's hard to, I get it, the committee has a really tough job.

00:54They have to choose the 12 best teams.

01:00But it's hard for me to sit there and say that we're not one of the 12 best teams in

01:05When you look at our strength of schedule, when you look at our wins on the road, I think

01:12we're now 4-1 on the road this year, in tough environments.

01:16We're not going and playing in front of 20,000 people on the road like some teams do in this

01:20country.

01:21They're playing in front of 100,000, he's right.

01:27Something has to be said for the teams that get it done late in the season, like they

01:33have, all the big games, on the road, and the wins.

01:37Going to Death Valley and beating Clemson, I don't care if it was out of conference.

01:44That is a difficult task for any team, and he's done a hell of a job coaching at South
