00:00Jerry, you know that I hate your school, and I just wanted to say that I have never seen

00:06Indiana beat Purdue 66 to nothing in anything, swimming, volleyball, basketball, football,

00:14golf, tennis.

00:15I don't know what it was, but I've never seen anything like that Saturday night.

00:21It was the worst loss in the entire 137-year history of Purdue's program.

00:28So no, they've never done that before, because nobody's ever done that before.

00:32The second worst loss in the history of the program was earlier this season when Notre

00:37Dame beat them 66-7.

00:38So the two worst losses in the history of the program came to Indiana and Notre Dame

00:44this season.

00:45And you can see why Ryan Walters got the ax, because that's just not a tenable situation.

00:50This program is completely cratered at the moment.

00:53And it's funny.

00:54I had written about Indiana trying to stay in the playoff hunt and that they needed to

00:57put up a big number on Purdue.

00:59And what I said was, there's nothing wrong with 63-0 that 70-0 wouldn't cure.

01:05And Coach Cignetti split the difference on that.

01:07So that's a big number, and that's what they needed.

01:12But man, Purdue football has got to find a coach that can turn this thing around.

01:17I mean, fortunately, in the transfer portal era, it's easier to do that quickly.

01:22But they need somebody who's an experienced head coach and does something innovative,

01:26especially offensively.

01:28So Indiana's in?

01:31I think Indiana's going to get in.

01:32Yeah, I think they're going to get maybe a double-digit seed, certainly no better than

01:36nine.

01:37It depends on what happens in some of these.

01:39If there's upsets in the championship games, they can get kicked up a little bit.

01:43But they're going to get in, but they're going to go on the road for that first-round game.
