00:00The University of the Philippines and De La Salle University will face each other again in the finals of the UAAP Season 87 Men's Basketball.

00:09That's after defending champions Adamson University beat Soaring Falcons in the first and fourth matchup last night.

00:17Details in the center of the news by Rafael Bandegrel.

00:22A rematch between De La Salle University Green Archers and University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons

00:30will take place in the finals of the UAAP Men's Basketball this year.

00:35That's after both opponents defended their twice-to-beat advantage in the final four of the competition.

00:44This Saturday in Araneta Coliseum, UP defeated the UST Growling Tigers 78-69

00:52led by fourth-year guard Harold Alarcon who scored 16 points.

00:58I needed that and our team needed that.

01:02When there are situations like that, we are ready for the defense.

01:10The DLSU ended the Cinderella Story of Adamson Soaring Falcons when they beat them 70-55.

01:21Head Coach Topex Robinson was proud to show his players their determination to win the next title.

01:30It's nice to be back in the finals.

01:34I guess we also have to acknowledge how Adamson losing Fransman and Kalisaan,

01:42which are vital cogs of the team.

01:47I mean, they still gave a good fight.

01:50I mean, that just shows how good the team is.

01:53And again, these guys just did what they're supposed to do

01:56and just try to honor the game and play their best basketball.

01:59It's nice to be back in the finals.

02:02In the finals of Season 87, LASALLE defeated UP

02:06led by their superstar Kevin Quimbao.

02:10Next Saturday, Game 1 of the series will be broadcasted.

02:13Here, we will find out if the Archers will repeat the history

02:17or if Fighting Maroons will be able to make up for it.
