Seven southern provinces in Thailand are grappling with severe flooding and three of the five districts hit by floods in Satun province have been declared disaster zones. 00:28The situation in Langu district is dire, with water levels rising rapidly due to the

00:34overflowing Lam Lon canal.

00:37The army has mobilized its personnel to help with rescue and relief efforts.

00:41Troops were sent to the affected areas to evacuate the residents from their flooded

00:46homes and monitor water levels at rivers.

00:50The floods have killed nine people and displaced more than 13,000 people in eight provinces.
