00:00The Department of Justice will also investigate the former President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:04He is still following his military commitments that are considered bordering on sedition.

00:15The former President Rodrigo Duterte has nothing to do with the investigation of the Department of Justice.

00:21According to the DOJ,

00:22it is considered bordering on sedition that the former President of the Armed Forces of the Philippines

00:30moved against the fractured governance in the Philippines.

00:35Because of this, it is possible that the investigation of him and his son, Vice President Sara Duterte, will be conducted at the same time.

00:43We will also investigate the words of the former President Duterte at the same time as what is happening now.

00:55For him to invite the military to have a part in seeking remedy is bordering on sedition.

01:04The DOJ also pointed out that the military has no role in leading the government.

01:09Their duty is to protect the people.

01:12Therefore, if the former President has a problem with the government,

01:16he should pass it on to the law and not to the military.

01:40The DOJ also believes that despite the calls of the former President,

01:45the AFP will remain faithful to the government and professional.

01:50When it comes to what Duterte said, that the country has a fractured government,

01:54the DOJ's answer is simple here.

02:10The Justice Department is also looking into where the silence came from in the demonstrations against the government.

02:18The DOJ assures that it is being chased.

02:22For now, the former President has not commented on the ongoing investigation against him by the DOJ.
