00:11things up, whether that's roster related or is potentially the head coach, uh, going to

00:16be a situation for them that also gets shaken up.

00:23They have lost three in a row and they've looked bad, decelerating a lot of shots against

00:28them.

00:29A lot against Calgary, a lot against Winnipeg, uh, St. Louis came into the garden last night

00:33and one going away.

00:34So yeah, there's issues.

00:35Now here's the thing.

00:36Are you really trading Chris Kreider?

00:38He's got nine goals.

00:39He's not the problem.

00:40He's at 6.5 million for two more years.

00:43Like how are you going to get value?

00:44You know, Chris Kreider is going to be probably in the 30 goal range.

00:46What are you getting a 30 goal score, six and a half million for this season or the

00:49next.

01:29If I told you the things, the stats with the Islanders in terms of what they've done outside

01:36of the third period, they have been tied or ahead after two periods in 16 of their 22

01:41games.

01:42They have held opponents to one goal or fewer through two periods in 14 of their 22 games.

01:47They're five, five and four in those games.

01:50And this is the one that gets me the most, Denny.

01:52In 22 games this year, they've surrendered 33 goals in the third period.

01:59They've allowed 30 in the first, second and overtime combined, 33 in the third, 30 in

02:06the other three.

02:08They brought one in there to get rid of the third period problems and it hasn't happened

02:12yet.

02:13I still feel it's a lot roster related, roster related, but I thought they'd clean that up

02:19And they've done none of it.

02:21They've lost in 16 to 22 games and they've won eight.

02:23So half the games they blew.

02:25And again, for a team that's on the outside looking in for the playoffs, you need those

02:30They're not that their offenses, their roster is not great.

02:35It hurts the offense.

02:36So maybe he would score in the third period, help them win some games.

02:38But I think it's mindset carbon.

02:40I think this is a mental thing and not a physical thing.

02:43If you can outplay a team for 40 minutes and you have a lead and you play it safe and you

02:47play it too safe and you don't have the offense to bounce back when they get a goal, it's

02:51a mystery because now it's two coaches.

02:52It's not just a lane Lambert thing.

02:55Now it's a Patrick Law thing and that's troubling.

02:57So you have to question maybe the mental makeup of this team.

03:00So when you look at the trade line, what they're going to do with the Brock Nelson, I'm not

03:03sure what they should do with that.

03:05But it's concerning because now it's over the period of two coaches, not just one coach

03:09that has had this problem.
