00:00The Commission on Elections is already planning to hold mock elections on the second week of January 2025.

00:07According to Comelec, their target is to finish all preparations for the election,

00:11like the list of candidates,

00:14completing the election paraphernalia before December ends,

00:18so that the mock elections can continue in January.

00:21Comelec said earlier that their target place for this is a few towns in Metro Manila,

00:28Cordillera Administrative Region, Calabarzon, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Barm, and Region 9.

00:34Meanwhile, aside from preparing for the mock elections,

00:37Comelec also confirmed that the delivery of automated counting machines

00:43that the Philippines will use for the 2025 elections will be completed.

00:47This week, the last 9,000 to 10,000 ACMs from South Korea are expected to arrive.

00:53It's earlier than a month compared to their contract.
