00:00After borrowing from the new Executive Vice President of FIVB,

00:04PNDF President Ramon Tatsuzara announced the agency's plans

00:10to give more support to volleyball as a sport in the country.

00:14This is the first of my teammates, Bernadette Pinoy.

00:19Nominated by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation,

00:22Asian Volleyball Confederation President,

00:25and FIVB newly elected Executive Vice President Ramon Tatsuzara,

00:29the volleyball leagues in the country will be held in 2025.

00:33Aside from the country's solo hosting in the 2025 FIVB Men's World Championships,

00:39there will be many more exciting volleyball tournaments held in the country.

00:43The world's best volleyball players will play here.

00:47We have the first ever ABC Champions League.

00:50This is a new league that we will launch in May under my presidency.

00:56And then we have the ABC Challenge Cup.

00:58And then, of course, we have other events like Southeast Asian League,

01:03the CB League, you call it.

01:05And then we have the World Championships.

01:06Next year.

01:08Tatsuzara added that this is the result of the unparalleled support of the Filipino fans to the players.

01:14As the new EVP of FIVB,

01:17Tatsuzara said that they will pay more attention to the requests of athletes, coaches, and officials.

01:24The first one is, of course, to put volleyball to be in the most popular sports,

01:30top five popular sports in Asia.

01:32That's the number one strategy.

01:35I'd like to watch this forum or organize a new important committee in ABC,

01:43the Athletes Committee.

01:45The athletes have to be involved in the affairs of Asia.

01:50Another one is empowerment.

01:51Empowering women in sports, women in volleyball, empowering the national teams and federations.
