00:03In Cricket, you have to be at the top, everything is self-made.

00:24I was a dangerous player, I said don't talk to me about my life,

00:27because Cricket is like a very dangerous sport.

00:30So that's why I keep, when I get this question,

00:35I always say that study.

00:37If you pass your 10th, you get a job according to it.

00:41I mean your education does not go away.

00:43It stays with you.

00:45In Cricket, you have to be at the top.

00:49I know to reach there is not a piece of cake, it's difficult,

00:52it's not something everyone gets.

00:54Yeah, I might be the luckiest one who will get it,

00:56but to reach there, you need to be really, really, really best.

01:00But didn't mom and dad ever say,

01:02study, or did they just give up?

01:05No, this kid won't study.

01:08No, I mean, they knew I wouldn't be able to do it,

01:11because I was bad, like bad.

01:14It was more of a situation, a decision which I made,

01:18rather than being like, no, I don't want to go to school.

01:21You know, I always had this thing in my mind,

01:25that how will I make my life strong?

01:30Because we used to be really rich,

01:32with goodwill to the family.

01:34And from having that and struggling the life for 10, 10 rupees,

01:37which was like, disappointed for me.

01:39I was disappointed because I had money when I was small.

01:42I was like, when I grow up, how much will I struggle?

01:45Me and my brother used to go to villages to play for like,

01:49when I used to get 450, I used to get 300 rupees.

01:52Going in a local train with my kid,

01:55and coming back in a truck, sitting in the back,

01:58or again coming in a local train without having a ticket.

02:01And, you know, I mean, it was difficult.

02:05And I was like, you know, one day I sat there,

02:08and I was like, see, one thing is there,

02:11now you can keep on creeping about it.

02:13But why with me, why with me, why with me?

02:16Or either you can work hard and let's see what happens.

02:19Everything is like self-made.

02:21Here, no one presents anything to you.

02:23I still remember when me and Kunal were 17 and he was 19,

02:27we said to my father that we don't want anyone's sympathy.

02:30So, I was like, you won't say anything to anyone,

02:34that you won't say, then pick my boy or something.

02:36You won't say anything, because me and Kunal won't like it.

02:39Hum khud khelenge toh khelenge, nahi khelenge nahi.

02:41Because we always wanted that no one should say,

02:43after a few years, you know.

02:45Yeah, there are people who has helped.

02:47Yeah.

02:48Like who has a big role like my coach and all,

02:50which I am grateful.

02:52Aur bahar jaa ke khud kar aayega.

02:54Field mein khud kar aayega.
