Why did lawyers of her own court protest her appointment as a High Court judge?

01:16bearing with my missed timings as a dutiful mother.

02:46I will duly and faithfully and to the best of my ability, knowledge and judgment, perform

03:11the duties of my office without fear or favour, affection or ill will.

03:41I am conscious and fully aware that today I am handed over with the greatest responsibility

03:52of being a judge, only to heed to the unheard and oppressed voices of the poorest of the

03:58poor, to liberate the marginalized, to scuttle down the abominable inequalities of the society

04:04and to nurture fraternity in this beautiful, serene, diverse land named India.
