00:01If you've been watching, you know that Shanghai is currently

00:03undergoing lockdown due to an increase in COVID cases.

00:10We have been basically isolated from COVID for two years.

00:14It's essentially like we were frozen in time from 2020

00:19and now it's like now they press the play button again.

00:30Right now, we cannot leave.

00:33Originally, we had our fingers crossed that we would be able to move

00:37around our compound after the 5th.

00:39But they did city-wide testing, the entire city.

00:43They tested everybody, all 26 million of us one day.

00:49And we were awaiting the results.

00:52So they were using that information to determine

00:55how they're going to proceed with the lockdown.

02:16A lot of people are ready to leave.

02:22The thing is, I saw what happened in 2020.

02:24I saw what happened in Wuhan.

02:26I stayed.

02:28At the time, a lot of people were like,

02:30if you need to get out,

02:32we're going to find a way to let everybody leave.

02:34I was like,

02:36no.

02:38I'm just going to stay here and stick it out

02:40and see what happens.

02:42If any country has the ability

02:44to mobilize very quickly

02:46and enact change, it's China.
