00:00The volunteers, they were pretty special out there, 56 to nothing over the minors and with

00:12some of the upset losses, this could open up a nice little pathway into the playoffs.

00:18Fantastic point.

00:19It was something I wanted to talk about tonight, which is the two big winners, Tennessee and

00:26either Miami, I'm thinking it's Miami or SMU.

00:29I think the loser of the ACC title game now has a clear pathway to the playoffs.

00:35Ditto Tennessee with the losses by Alabama and Ole Miss.

00:40Now Tennessee looks like as long as they win next week against Vandy, they should be in

00:45the playoffs as well.

00:47So a lot of pieces beginning to fall into place.

00:50A couple of quickies in terms of polish, obviously, I'm sure you guys talked about it in the first

00:54half hour.

00:55Ohio State looked great.

00:57Now was the time for Ohio State, couldn't afford to lose after the loss against Oregon.

01:02They showed up in a big way offensively, but especially defensively against Indiana today.

01:07And how about Notre Dame?

01:08I think we keep forgetting about the fighting Irish.

01:11I know the schedule hasn't been a gauntlet, but since that loss to Northern Illinois,

01:16they are just like a locomotive, great ground game, great defense.

01:20I know it was army and they were overmatched, but they were also undefeated.

01:24And so Notre Dame heading into USC next week looks very impressive.

01:29Win that game against the Trojans and they will surely be in the college football playoffs.

01:34Absolutely.

01:35And I think that they've done well with kind of having more of a balanced attack with their

01:38plan versus their opponents.

01:40I mean, army could have been one of those teams to sneak in there and make things a

01:43little bit more problematic in equal measure to what we saw in week two.

01:46So the progress has been promising.
