00:07This is the center of the news of Angela Peñalosa from PBS Radyo Pilipinas, Manila.

00:14The Department of Agriculture is actively promoting the Seedling Production Campaign in the country.

00:20In a radio interview, DA Bureau of Plant Industry,

00:25Agriculturist Benito Suhor was targeted by HACBANG

00:28for the proliferation of agricultural products produced by farmers.

00:33This is given by a certificate and the seeds are from research.

00:38Because BPLOS Banyus is a breeding institution.

00:42That's why the seeds that we produce here in the center,

00:46like insect varieties,

00:49are produced so that it can be multiplied and distributed to our farmers.

00:56The State Universities and Colleges are cooperating

01:00so that the youth can be more active

01:02and help in regulating the agriculture sector.

01:06BPLOS Banyus is also helping the SUCs.

01:12For example, in accepting on-the-job training,

01:14they train here so that they can learn the production of seeds

01:19so that they can learn and have an idea

01:23for the production of our seeds, like lollipops.

01:28President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. first said

01:31that the Seedling Nursery will be proliferated in the country

01:34so that the cultivation of vegetables and rice can be increased.

01:38Our program is called Seedling Production.

01:43So that our farmers can use the varieties that they will plant,

01:49not only rice, but also vegetables,

01:53the best and sufficient varieties that we don't import anymore.
