Matted Dog Is So Relieved To Get His First Bath Ever

This matted pup was found on the streets of Houston — and he immediately relaxed once he got his first bath ever ❤️️ We talked to his rescuer, Natalie, about how she found the perfect match for Ollie — her mom!

00:00Ollie had been wandering around our neighborhood for a while.

00:03He was completely covered in fleas and was severely matted all over.

00:07Look, she's falling asleep because she's probably never been so content before.

00:15She's so skinny.

00:16So it is 11 o'clock at night and I just picked up this baby.

00:21She's got fleas and she's got a little bobo to get her cleaned up.

00:28I saw that he was matted, saw that there was trash matted in him as well, so I was like

00:32I immediately need to start clipping him because I knew it was eating him alive.

00:37She doesn't even care about the food.

00:39I think she just wants to be taken care of.

00:42He didn't want to close his eyes for long because he didn't know what was going to happen

00:45or what was around him.

00:47She's trying so hard to relax.

00:50You can see all the fleas.

00:54You could tell that he had been on the streets for a while and probably was never cared for.

00:58I went and gave him a bath and I really scrubbed him well.

01:03I dried him off and then shook the towel in the bathtub and that really showed how many

01:08fleas were on him.

01:18After a bit of grooming, it turned out that Ollie was a boy.

01:25He had two baths and I was up until 3.30 in the morning.

01:30Because we had three dogs already, we knew that we couldn't keep him so I called my mom

01:34and I knew he would be in great hands.

01:37After he had gotten some rest, that's when we started seeing his tail wag.

01:40He was super excited to see me in the morning.

01:43I did end up taking him to the vet the next day and once he had gotten all checked out,

01:48I called my mom.

01:49He was so little and I was so excited to see him.

01:53What are you thinking about being outside?

01:56It's a little different than it was before, huh?

01:59Look at that tail wag.

02:01Say good morning, everybody.

02:04I'm happy.

02:05He couldn't have been a better fit for me and I think every day since then, I just fall

02:10in love with him more and more.

02:13This is morning time with my sweet Ollie.

02:18He climbs up in my lap, gets himself comfortable, and falls asleep.

02:28He is just the sweetest and most loving little guy and I want to give Ollie all the love

02:34in the world.

02:35I just want to make up for lost time.

02:38Good boy.

02:39That's a big boy.

02:41I just love him so much.
