00:05As a doodle producer, I always love Weight Loss Journeys because they're so amazing to watch

00:09and the transformations are incredible and very inspiring.

00:12So today I'm going to show you three of my favorite stories.

00:15First, we have Franny.

00:16This story really shocked me because I don't think I had ever seen a dog

00:19that couldn't walk due to her overweight.

00:22I know it's exhausting.

00:24However, she found an amazing foster mom who went above and beyond to help her.

00:28Here she goes!

00:30Franny turned out to be obsessed with tennis balls,

00:33so her mom made sure that she had enough around to make her get in those extra steps.

00:39And actually, it worked perfectly because after a couple days,

00:42Franny was able to take her first steps and even go waltz with her mom,

00:46which is something she didn't do in a very, very long time.

00:49I love how her foster mom never gave up

00:52and how Franny turned her love for tennis balls into another opportunity to be happy.

01:03because she was definitely not interested in doing any high physical activity.

01:10I mean, who wants to wake up at 4 in the morning to go for a run?

01:20Fortunately for Squishy, her new adopter was Jimmy,

01:24a professional fitness coach who started to include Squishy in his daily workouts.

01:30I loved the fact that Squishy rapidly adapted to her new lifestyle

01:34and that she made a 360 when she was back in shape.

01:37She seemed so happy and energized, almost as if she was another dog.

01:47From this story, I learned that our dogs can find motivation in the bond they have with us

01:51and that all it takes is giving them time to adjust to our lives.

01:59Finally, we have Bertha.

02:00I want to take this chance to point out that if you ever decide to adopt a dog and visit a shelter,

02:05please don't overlook the obese dogs

02:07because that's what happened to Bertha for a very long time

02:12until she found a new foster mom who wanted to give her a second chance.

02:16For Bertha, any simple activity was a big challenge

02:19and she's gotten used to spend most of her days sleeping.

02:26Getting her to walk on the treadmill was a struggle

02:28as her little paws couldn't support all the extra weight.

02:31But her foster mom never gave up

02:33and she tried all kinds of different activities to cheer her up.

02:41Honestly, I never thought that a dog scratching her ear would get me so excited.

02:44That meant that Bertha was losing weight and was finally able to do basic dog things.

02:56and that we should appreciate the simple things a little more.
