Were Stephen A. Smith comments out of pocket?

The hosts give their take on what Stephen A. Smith said about Jerry Jones on first take. They think that he was way out of pocket bringing his family into it and do not think that he is having a cognitive decline. Was Stephen A. Smith’s comments genuine concern or is he blowing things out of proportion?

00:00I think that they have made horrible, horrible football decisions starting with this offseason.

00:05I don't think that that is cognitive related.

00:18related with the mistakes that they made.

00:20But for Stephen A not to understand, I think you can fire that shot maybe one time, maybe

00:28if you have a great relationship with Jerry Jones, for Stephen A Smith to do it twice

00:31and then do it over that comment, which I took as him saying, yo, now let's not throw,

00:36that's part of the fight that we all have with him when he's like, let's not throw everything

00:39out.

00:40We've been a damn good, and they have been, that's true.

00:43They've not close in the playoffs, but they've been a damn, damn good regular season team

00:48for three straight years.

00:50And what Jerry was trying to say is let's not totally flush that.

00:54It's baby out with the bathwater.

00:56And for Stephen A to fire the second shot over that, I think it was a miscalculation.

01:01I think it was a big miscalculation and a very, uh, you know, maybe an offensive.

01:07You can't come back from that calculation if he, if he wants to go over there and Frisco.

01:10If I, if I'm in, if I'm in the Jones family and I, and he's talking about where the family

01:15members, my complaint as a family member would be more related to like, let's not talk so

01:21much because it exposes us.

01:23Like you said, he's overexposed.

01:25You're creating headaches for us with this and that, and that's causing difficulties.

01:28It would not at all be related to your mental faculties are not there.

01:31Like I said, you can stand across from Jerry and talk to him for an hour and go like, he's

01:34more with it than most 82 year olds I've, I've seen.

01:37And so I don't cognitive decline.

01:39That seems, and I think Stephen A knows that.

01:41And that's the problem is that if he really thinks that that's genuinely mental faculties,

01:46I don't think he knows what it looks like.

01:48And I think it's more likely that he knows what it looks like.

01:51And he's being hot take artist here.

01:53Jerry's always ummed in us and interviews.

01:57He's always talked in circles and that's, that's, that's just the way he is.
