00:00just wanted to come and say thank you very much because we want all of you to be super healthy

00:04in south yorkshire and you've got to keep on running and coming down here and eating

00:08lots of fruit and vegetables preferably not at the same time three two one go

00:21how are you both feeling tired tired how was it i think it's quite hard in the smooth track but like

00:29i feel like it's pretty it's it's better than i've got so how does it feel to have junior park

00:35run here because it's a lovely place that we come to quite often and first time there's a park on

00:44here and it's good for your health it was good i didn't really know the route so it's good that i

00:50followed is it something you'd like to do again yeah brilliant and was it difficult

01:28are you pleased with today's turnout over the moon absolutely ecstatic yeah we've had about

01:33333 uh junior power which is the same number and it has been very busy a lot more people than we

01:40expected which is brilliant that's the whole point of junior park run getting young children

01:44out there moving active healthy lifestyle for the future and why is it important to have kids

01:51coming out to do this with a medical hat on being a gp we're seeing children are less active than

01:56they used to be growing over children children have become more obese so it's important that

02:02they uh you know they're active and uh yeah helps them to maintain healthy lives for the rest of

02:08their life really i think it's brilliant to see this many kids come down on a sunday morning

02:13to run around the park get fit get healthy and have a brilliant time it's a joy it's honestly

02:17brilliant i want south yorkshire to be the healthiest region in the country and that's

02:21got to start with kids and so us being able to fund this park run allow kids to come out and

02:25enjoy themselves and have a brilliant time getting fit being healthy is a really brilliant thing to

02:29be able to do and we want to see it right across south yorkshire
