00:35This was going to be a very compelling division because if Jacksonville could bounce back, would they give chase to Houston?

00:42What would Indianapolis look like in the de facto rookie season with Anthony Richardson?

00:47Well, the answer so far is minimal competition for the Texans.

00:51Now it's seven and four. The updated win total is ten and a half.

00:56But entering this year, Houston was a odds on favor to win the AFC South.

01:01Regardless, the up and coming team that had already been to a place.

01:06Nobody expected in the rookie seasons of both CJ Stroud, the quarterback and head coach D'Amico Ryans.

01:12You see the number now at minus 1450.

01:15The question on the Texans is not are they going to win the division?

01:19It's the next step. Are they going to take that offseason optimism and make a deep playoff run?

01:26I don't know, Ben. I mean, listen, they'll take the win any which way you can get it.

01:31But to have Nico Collins back in that lineup and that's what we all heard, right?

01:36Was because, well, he hasn't had all his weapons and you know that now that I still don't trust that offensive line.

01:43I still don't trust the decision making.

01:46And when you look at some of the quarterbacks that had monster weeks this week, Derek Carr.

01:52I mean, Jared Goff, Jalen Hurts. You look at some of the numbers that those guys had in wins.

01:58And then you look at what Stroud had. All right, congratulations.

02:01But what happens when you play better defenses and better competition?

02:05Are we really trusting this guy to win 11 games then?

02:09And they're going to win the South. That's obvious. But then what? What are you going to do?

02:14It feels like a one and done kind of playoff team to me.
