00:00The opening of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project is now ready.

00:05This is the first line of the train that will be opened under the Marcos administration.

00:20And the LRT-1 Cavite Extension of Phase 1 will be opened today.

00:27The holiday is just around the corner and the commuters are looking forward to it.

00:35President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is leading the inauguration.

00:39Later at 9 in the morning, the commuters are expected to be faster.

00:44From Norte to the southern part of Metro Manila.

00:48Under Phase 1 of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project,

00:54more than 6 kilometers of 5 stations were added from Baclaran,

01:01including Redemptorist Asiana, Nia Road, VIPX, Minoy Aquino, and Dr. Santos Station.

01:08That's why the journey from San Fernando, Junior Station in Muñoz, Quezon City,

01:15to the new Dr. Santos Station in Luzon, Paranaque.

01:21Audrey, this is the first railway line that was opened under the Marcos administration.

01:27That's why the time of the journey will not only be shorter, but the traffic will also be wider in NCR.

01:34It will also provide a safe and more portable public transportation.

01:40When Phase 2 and 3 of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project is completed,

01:45it will be easier to travel from Paranaque to Baclaran, Cavite.

01:52More than 300,000 passengers will benefit every day.

01:57The total number of commuters will exceed 800,000.

02:04The project was made possible with the help of the Public-Private Partnership Program of the Marcos Administration,
