00:10This comes just two months after his camp donated three pole vault pits to different
00:14venues around the country.
00:16Obiena writes on social media,
00:18"'My dream is, the Philippines being a global force in pole vault doesn't end with me.
00:23It continues on for generations to follow."
00:25He is set to fly back to the Philippines to grace the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the facility
00:30and will hold a coaching seminar and a pole vault clinic.
00:33He adds the Lawag venue is just the first of many pole vault facilities he plans to
00:37build with his team.
00:38After cutting his season short due to a back injury, the Filipino pole vaulter hopes to
00:43redeem himself next year after he dropped fourth in the world rankings.
