00:15Update first on the off-field storm. It was seen at a distance of 215 kilometers.

00:20It was hit by a strong wind that reached 165 kilometers per hour near the center

00:26and reached 250 kilometers per hour.

00:29At Cognizant, signal number 4 now in the northeastern portion of the mainland, Pagayan.

00:34Signal number 3 in the northwestern, central, and eastern portion of the mainland, Pagayan

00:39including Baboyn Island, the northeastern portion of Isabela, and up to the northern portion of Apayao.

00:46Signal number 2 in Batanes, the rest of Pagayan, the northwestern and southeastern portions of Isabela,

00:55the rest of Apayao, the northern portion of Calinga, the northeastern portion of Avra,

00:59the northern and central portions of Ilocos Norte.

01:01While signal number 1 in the remaining parts of Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya,

01:06the rest of Avra, the rest of Calinga, Mountain Province, Ibogao, the northern portion of Pingit,

01:11the rest of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, the northern portion of La Union,

01:16the northern and central portions of Aurora.

01:18So in the mentioned areas, this is where we are preparing our countrymen.

01:22We are being careful because this storm is very strong.

01:26So the effects as early as now are already affected there.

01:30The possible approach there of this storm or its close approach or landfall

01:36is later in the afternoon until later in the evening.

01:39So this is crucial until tomorrow for our countrymen in the northern and central areas.

01:48Meanwhile, we are also keeping an eye on the outside of the FAR.

01:52The Tropical Storm Mani, when it enters our area of responsibility,

01:56we will call it our Secret Pito.

01:59This was last seen at a distance of 1,700 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.

02:04And its maximum speed is 75 kilometers per hour near the center,

02:08gustiness of 90 kilometers per hour.

02:11And as of now, there is still no signal that is high because it is still far.

02:16Based on our track, it is possible that it will hit the Eastern Visayas or Bicol Region.

02:21That is why we are preparing our countrymen for safety here in Southern Luzon

02:26including Metro Manila and some parts of Central Luzon

02:29because this is where we can see the effects of the Tropical Storm Mani

02:36or what we will call the Pito.
