00:00Less than 10 minutes ago, the Senate approved the P733 million budget of the Office of the Vice President for the next year.

00:09Vice President Sara Duterte attended the budget hearing.

00:12She said that she is now asking the Congress to revoke it, but she hopes that their proposed budget of P2 billion will be revoked.

00:20If it will not be revoked, they said that there are 200 personnel who might lose their jobs.

00:25Senator Bong Go said that the budget cut will have a direct effect on the OVP's services.

00:31She said that this will be discussed during the period of amendments.

00:36There are really OVP personnel, particularly in satellite offices where 200 contract of service personnel might lose their jobs.

00:49The closure of satellite offices is a possibility depending on the budget that we get.
