00:00Jai Ramondes of PTV Davao is one of the people who were affected by the heavy rainfall in Davao City.

00:15Heavy rainfall hit Davao City this Sunday night, November 13,

00:21where a 30-year-old laborer from Barangay Crossing Bayabas was killed in Davao City.

00:28In an investigation conducted by the Davao City Police Office,

00:31Rodel Hornido, the driver of the motorcycle, was involved in the heavy rainfall in Turil Proper and Patungong Barangay Tibuloy in Turila.

00:39He was forced to get out of his motorcycle.

00:43He was forced to get out of his motorcycle because the water was too deep.

00:47He was not able to get out of his motorcycle.

00:50He was able to buy a motorcycle, but he was drowned in the rain.

00:55Residents were able to recover the motorcycle of the victim,

00:58and the Disaster Response Team conducted a search-and-rescue operation where they were able to find the victim's slippers and clothes.

01:08On Monday, November 4, the victim's body was found in Barangay Abinugao, Turil,

01:15in front of a private house that was confirmed by his live-in partner.

01:20Authorities are reminding residents not to be complacent with the rain and flood that they are experiencing.

01:37The rainfall in Davao City last night was the result of localized thunderstorms.
