00:00Coach one of the great rivalries always around this time of year we go to Jacksonville the 103rd

00:05all-time meeting between Georgia and Florida. Number two Georgia taking on Florida and the line

00:12is still north of two touchdowns but coach Bowden the Gators have looked a lot better in this last

00:17month how do they try to keep this game competitive today against the Bulldogs?

00:23Well they've got to play great defense and and hold Georgia down. Georgia is kind of a

00:28methodical team although right now they're the hottest team in the country along with Oregon

00:32they're kind of methodical methodical moving the ball downfield and I think Florida's defense

00:36has got to hold them in but but I think that the the key to the game is is Florida's quarterback

00:42DJ Lagway and how he's going to play as a true freshman in a big game because that that game

00:49the largest outdoor cocktail party in Jacksonville that has a big time feel to it so I think the key

00:55here is that they can handle the pressure that's going to pull that quarterback because George is

00:59going to stop that run pretty good then they've got to get pressure and put put the game on that

01:03freshman quarterback's shoulders they've been pretty good at hitting the deep ball at Florida

01:07so again George has got to stop the run make the game fall into that freshman quarterback's hands

01:12and don't give up the big play. Coach both teams are coming out of a bye week and I've said that

01:16you know sometimes the bye week does benefit the underdog it allows them to prepare maybe

01:21implement something a little bit new do you see that as well what can Florida do

01:26to potentially keep it close outside of Lagway?

01:32Joe you hit a key factor in college football when you have a bye week and you're not favored in the

01:37game or you're expected to get beat it's more likely you're going to put in some junk or put

01:42in some new stuff be willing to take a risk if you're the winning team that's on a stretch like

01:46George is they're they're saying to themselves let's just keep playing our game we've got our

01:51talent we're better on the field and they have a chance to play with their their game I think

01:57the key is what can Florida do they got again got this freshman quarterback but he can run very well

02:01so if there's going to be some wrinkles in the game expect Florida to do it you know they have

02:05nothing to lose they've got the worst part of their schedule coming up they need to get a victory

02:10I don't think it's going to be this Saturday but there I think you'll see almost anything

02:13happen in their game plan.
