00:002024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships will be held this morning in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

00:17The competition for the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships is not yet starting.

00:24The passion of the most talented paddlers in the world is already felt.

00:31Before the official start of the biggest Dragon Boat Race event this year,

00:36more than 20 countries participated in the competition in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

00:41The Philippines will not be left behind in front of our fellow countrymen.

00:48The team captain of the Philippine Dragon Boat Team, OJ Fuentes, will be leading for the country.

00:55According to their 26-year-old veteran paddler, Punteria,

00:59they will defend their title in the 2018 Games in Gainesville, Florida.

01:04Of course, we are the host country.

01:09We want to beat our last record in the U.S.

01:12I hope we can do it, but we will do our best to achieve it.

01:17All athletes will do their best.

01:21Fuentes also gave a message to the young people who want to become a Dragon Boat paddler.

01:28Just enjoy your passion for Dragon Boat and work hard.

01:35If you're having a hard time, that's how it is.

01:38Not everything can be achieved easily.

01:42The Philippine Dragon Boat Team is asking for prayers and support

01:46as they prepare for their fight on Wednesday in the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships.
