Just hold right here.
00:02
Is this okay?
00:04
Yes ma'am.
00:14
You can step right over there.
00:16
I'll see you right there.
00:18
I'll get you whatever one you want.
00:24
You can take a picture.
00:26
Thank you for coming.
00:30
It's embarrassing.
00:32
Just simply embarrassing.
00:34
It's beneath any president.
00:36
But that's what we're getting used to.
00:38
That's why this election is so important.
00:40
You know, most presidential scholars
00:42
I've spoken to
00:44
talk about the single most consequential thing
00:46
about a president is character.
00:48
Character.
00:50
And he puts that in question
00:52
every time he opens his mouth.
01:00
So that was anyone Tuesday?
01:02
Well, I feel like
01:04
the election is a free and
01:06
fair process, regardless of
01:08
what he said.
01:10
I think losers always cry the loudest.
01:12
I feel like for those
01:14
who vote, who take the time to read the ballots
01:16
and actually
01:18
go and do their civic duty
01:20
there's no problem.
01:22
There shouldn't be any problem. However, like I said
01:24
losers cry the loudest.
01:26
I know he's a little arrogant, but I feel
01:28
like from what he did for
01:30
over four years ago, the economy
01:32
was better. It stinks as far as
01:34
I'm concerned. We're having a hard
01:36
time. My husband's self-employed and we're having
01:38
a hard time making a living
01:40
because of the way the economy
01:42
is right now. And we just feel like
01:44
that hopefully he's going to put us back on
01:46
some kind of track. And I'll be
01:48
honest with you, I'm worried about what the world is
01:50
coming to. He fight for this country.
01:52
That's how I like it. He put
01:54
his heart into it. He fight for the country.
01:56
He fight for the people in the United States.
01:58
I mean, there's
02:00
nothing I can do about it really, so I just have to put my
02:02
trust in it and hope, you know, and trust
02:04
the government to make sure
02:06
every ballot is counted correctly.
02:14
This cycle, it's been pretty
02:16
steady the entire time. To the
02:18
extent that you see behind me, that
02:20
usually happens about when we get to
02:22
about a week out.
02:24
Obviously, it's a week
02:26
till election day. It's on
02:28
the people's top of mind
02:30
and that's when we're the busiest.
02:32
But we've had over 88,000
02:34
people that have voted in person
02:36
here in Franklin County.
02:38
Yesterday we had about 7,700
02:40
and we anticipate that that number
02:42
will go up as we go
02:44
through the end of early in-person voting
02:46
which will end on Sunday of this week.
02:48
I just thought the crowd
02:50
would be a lot smaller than what it is now,
02:52
but I would never wait for the last minute.
02:54
I always come and vote earlier.
02:56
It's important. I want to make sure that my
02:58
vote is counted. Voting in general,
03:00
it's important. We've got to get out here. Every
03:02
vote counts. Every voice matters.
03:04
I come out here for myself, for my nieces,
03:06
for women everywhere.
03:08
My rights are human rights. Women's rights
03:10
are human rights. Abortion is healthcare.
03:12
We're here for it.
03:14
I have sisters.
03:16
I have a wife. I have
03:18
a mother. And considering
03:20
some of the issues that
03:22
have been decided
03:24
at the federal and now state level
03:26
in this nation over the past four years,
03:28
I decided more
03:30
than ever to come out early
03:32
to make sure that I didn't miss my chance
03:34
while working on Tuesday.
03:36
I didn't want to come after polls close.
03:38
The major concern which I have
03:40
is
03:42
our involvement
03:44
in the rest of the world.
03:46
What we are doing
03:48
in Ukraine
03:50
and especially what we are doing
03:52
in
03:54
Gaza,
03:56
in Palestine,
03:58
and in Lebanon now.
04:00
I don't want
04:02
us to be involved in
04:04
someone else's war.
04:06
We have enough of our
04:08
own issues which we
04:10
should be taking care of
04:12
rather than spending
04:14
billions and billions of dollars
04:16
on others' wars.
