00:41that they have to do something

00:42when it comes to helping out the pass rush.

00:45Because if you don't do it, Green Bay might do it, right?

00:48Minnesota might do it.

00:49San Francisco, we know, seemingly every year,

00:52they make a move where it's like,

00:53geez, why can't we do something like it?

00:56So I think if you choose,

00:59because we know Holmes loves his picks

01:01but are you getting to the point where you go,

01:02we are a Super Bowl team, I'll burn a first if I have to,

01:15they've never been in this position, right?

02:38They were picking at the top end of the second round.

02:45so if it does come down to that,

02:48where they want to get a high-end player

02:51and give up a high-end pick,

02:52I think you're going to probably have to overpay

02:54a little bit just because of where you're projected

02:57to pick when it comes to the draft.

05:05after you've missed out on a couple Super Bowls,

05:08and then it's about adjusting and figuring it out?

05:12Do we want to do what the Rams did and give up every pick

05:14and go do whatever it takes to win one Super Bowl

05:16and then be bad for years after that?

05:20Like, I don't know if I'm willing to give that up.

05:22I'd rather have a chance every single year

05:25to go out there and be a dynasty, right?

05:27Not be a team that, oh, it's cute once every 15, 20.

05:31I want a team that's got a chance to compete.

05:33And I do believe that that is a better path

05:36to winning a Super Bowl and winning consistent, right?

05:39As opposed to giving up the entire future

05:43to go try to do whatever it takes to win one,

05:45because even then you're still not guaranteed

05:46you're going to get one.

05:47It's a balancing act, to be fair.

05:49You're not guaranteed anything,

05:50but the idea that I'm going to just slow play this

05:52for three or four or five years

05:53and then now my offensive line is gone

05:55and now I'm replacing them.

05:56And I go, damn it, I could have really gone for it.

05:59And that doesn't mean you give up every first

06:01from now until the end of time,

06:03but your first this year to me is expendable.

06:05I would agree with that, yeah.

06:08But there's also people that are, you know,

06:10give up any pick, but I don't care about picks.

06:16if you want to give up the next two drafts completely,
