00:00I'm Xavier Warnier, I've been co-founder of Ateliers Ritage Bike for 5 years now.
00:09I'm often defined as a man of passion, and I'm a multi-entrepreneur, it's my 7th company.
00:14But I think it's the passion, the convictions, and the fear of not having much,
00:19that makes it possible to move forward a bit differently from others, but we're moving forward.
00:26The company was created with two people, Guillaume and me.
00:30Guillaume is a car designer, so he had a keen eye for design and products.
00:35I'm more of a multi-entrepreneur, and I have convictions, I have my own toys,
00:39I mean cars, and we didn't find anything that existed in the business that we really liked,
00:44on which we had an emotion, so we said to ourselves, we're going to create it.
00:47And then, in the end, there were people who joined us,
00:49associates who were also motivated and passionate.
00:51And today, there are about ten employees, about twenty subcontractors,
00:56and about fifty associates.
00:58We wanted to manufacture in France, so it's already a bit complicated.
01:01And so, to find people who are able to do this work today,
01:05we're more in the artisanal mode, in the real sense of the word.
01:08And so, the Ateliers side was a bit of a builder's side, a bit of a house, a bit of prestige,
01:13because we're actually in a high-end position.
01:15And then, the Ritage side, it's precisely in relation to the lines,
01:17the old motorcycles, the old cars, that each time inspired us.
01:20And the R4, the 4L, the famous 4L,
01:22it's a line that still exists today, with the 4L Trophy.
01:26Obviously, the lines of the 4L, that's it, that spoke to us immediately.
01:32In the electrical industry today, most of the products that come out are on a futuristic line,
01:37to show a difference with the thermal.
01:39Once again, what makes me vibrate are the timeless lines, the true pure design,
01:43and I'm actually more inspired by motorcycles, mythical cars.
01:47And so, to make an electric motorcycle, with all the good sides of the modern,
01:51the ecological side in particular,
01:54and then, on the other hand, with very racy lines,
01:57very, very, indeed, on thermal motorcycles, in the sense that we could hear it,
02:01it works pretty well.
02:03And we realize that we have a lot of customers who switch to electric,
02:06precisely because we have these lines.
02:11The R4 is the motorcycle that we released.
02:14They have this in common on the adventure, but in the adventure, in the sense of freedom.
02:18Not the complicated adventure, etc.
02:20We let ourselves live a little, we discover,
02:22and the pleasure of driving an electric, for me, it is without the same.
02:26And yet, I drove a lot of thermal motorcycles.
02:29In fact, we always think that innovation is important,
02:31because we try to put it everywhere.
02:33But in fact, this innovation, it really has to serve only one point,
02:36to propose that there is really only pleasure.
02:38I think it's great, this Renault proposal,
02:41to participate, in fact, in the renewal of a mythical car,
02:44which will certainly make a lot of noise,
02:46to bring companies that have values that are certainly common,
02:49that are certainly less in the spotlight than usual.
02:51I find it quite extraordinary.
02:53And then to play a real collaboration,
02:55that is to say that we are really part of our real product.
02:57I met only passionate people,
02:59and also passionate people who had crazy expertise,
03:01who also used our expertise.
03:03In the end, we come to a product where, I think,
03:05we are all very happy with this product,
03:07that we are going to present together,
03:09with a different story,
03:11but in the end, we are going in the same direction.
03:13We are very, very proud, anyway.
