Searider is a start-up based in the Alpes-Maritimes area, building water e-bikes. Seacruiser can travel at speeds of up to 55 km/h on water, with its two 22 kW electric motors. Runtime is 90 minutes. A versatile bike with a design inspired by Renault 4, it is a great choice for both sports enthusiasts and novices.

00:00My name is Neil Bouabdallah. I am a brand ambassador at Searider.

00:09I am passionate about vehicles, motorized vehicles of all kinds.

00:14I do motorcycling, I do jet skiing when I have the opportunity.

00:16But my real passion is airplanes, which led me to get my license as a commercial airline pilot.

00:22And with Searider, I just discovered this new vehicle that surprised me.

00:27I've never tried anything like it.

00:31I grew up surrounded by Renault cars.

00:33My father had a Clio 1 and then a Scenic.

00:36My grandfather also had an R19 at night.

00:39And I learned to drive on the white R4 in our farm in Algeria.

00:44So today, being part of Searider and being part of this project in collaboration with Rodo, it's just crazy.

00:51At first glance, the SeaCruiser could look like a jet ski, but they are two completely different vehicles.

01:01Whether it's the driving technique, the sensations, the mechanics.

01:06Already on the vertical plane, with the SeaCruiser, we start from a sitting position.

01:11We have water coming at our waist.

01:13And it's by accelerating that we get out of the water, which gives us sensations on the vertical plane.

01:18And by turning, it's similar to a motorcycle.

01:21You have to lean and turn the handlebars, which makes the machine turn in a longitudinal way.

01:26And it offers a lot more sensations than a jet ski.

01:30Compared to the SeaCruiser motor group, which is electric, you feel the acceleration instantly.

01:38It's a very fun machine to drive.

01:43There is a learning curve.

01:45It's not complicated to use.

01:47If you can ride a scooter, you can drive the SeaCruiser quite easily.

01:55We had to innovate in terms of the frame, in terms of the body kit.

01:59We also have two electric motors that are in the water, so everything has to be waterproof.

02:04It was really complicated, but we managed to do it.

02:10The similarity between the R4 and the SeaCruiser is innovation.

02:14It's an electric product that turns to the future.

02:17It's the spirit of adventure, it's accessibility to the public.
