How do you feel about the idea of using weight loss jabs to help people with obesity return to work?

We spoke with members if the public about their thoughts on using weight loss drugs and using these as part of a public health strategy to address obesity.

00:00I think it could be helpful. I also think that like with those empties in America it could become

00:06yeah quite a problem and people would end up getting prescribed for it when they go to eat it.

00:13So I generally think weight loss jabs in their entirety, I don't think they've been researched

00:18enough to be safe to use for the sort of general public. I think with more research and over time

00:26it might be a better option than doing like a gastric band or something like that. But I think

00:34generally I think you should exhaust the natural remedies first and just being put on a stable diet

00:42and clearing that up first. I don't know I think it's to do it's a case-by-case thing.

00:47For concern to be maybe like addiction like if people become addicted to it

00:50that would end quite unhealthy. Like you go from like one extreme to potentially another extreme.

00:57I feel like it could lead to like massive mental health issues.
