00:20after the high tide earlier this morning.

00:23But some residents are still choosing to stay in evacuation centers.

00:31It was past 1 a.m. when the flood began to rise in some areas in Quezon City

00:37due to the continuous rain.

00:39Some areas were even flooded by almost a million people,

00:44like in Barangay Rojas,

00:46where the QCDR-RMO was needed to rescue 112 individuals.

00:52They even used a boat to evacuate the residents.

00:57When the sun rose and the rain stopped around 6 a.m.,

01:03most people evacuated to the evacuation centers of Lungsod.

01:10Like Rosalie, a resident of Tatalon,

01:13she woke up to the flood inside her house.

01:16That's why they quickly evacuated.

01:19Even though the water level in their area dropped,

01:22she did not leave the evacuation center.

01:25I didn't leave because I was afraid of the flood.

01:30That's why I stayed here.

01:32Like in Carina,

01:34when we woke up, the water level was already on the first floor.

01:40The flood level was already high.

01:43There were no more people there.

01:45Maribel did not save a single item.

01:52That's why she asked for help from the government
