00:00In the province of Aurora, the number of families affected by Hurricane Christine reached more than 2,600.

00:16The number of families affected by Hurricane Christine reached more than 2,600.

00:19Currently, 8,063 individuals are staying in evacuation centers in various municipalities in the province of Aurora.

00:28According to Aurora PDRMO Head, Amado Elson-Negargue, the families affected are from coastal barangays of the province

00:36and are among those evacuated before the hurricane hit.

00:39This is part of their pre-emptive evacuation to prevent the families from getting affected by Hurricane Christine.

00:47Among the assistance given to the internally displaced population or IDP are food packs, medicine, and high-end kits.

00:57The PDRMO Emergency Operations Center's continuously increasing red alert status

01:03as a preparation in case of a landslide or flash flood in the communities near the mountains.

01:09The local government is also continuously monitoring the rivers that may overflow due to the rain in the mountains

01:17including the barangays of Diteki, Malopa, and Nikildit in the province of Aurora.

01:22The assessment of the PDRMO also started to determine the total damage of Hurricane Christine.
