Scotland squad named for Autumn Nations Series matches against Fiji, South Africa, Portugal and Australia at Murrayfield in November

00:05Townsend has just named his Scotland squad for the Autumn Nations series.

00:09Scotland are playing four matches. They open up against Fiji a week on Saturday

00:13and then it's a world champion South Africa followed by Portugal and

00:17Australia. All the matches are at Murrayfield and the big news from Orium

00:22is that Gregor Townsend has named a new captain. Sionni Tupelotu takes over

00:26on his own, no longer co-captains as they were in last season's Six Nations with

00:31Finn Russell and Rory Darge. They've both been named as vice-captains for the

00:35series. But it's Tupelotu on his own and the big news for him and his family is

00:40that his younger brother Mozesi Tupelotu is also in the squad after a

00:44good start to the season with Edinburgh. He's one of five uncapped players. The

00:50others are Freddie Douglas, the 19-year-old Edinburgh flanker who's yet

00:54to play a competitive match for Edinburgh and looks like he will play

00:56for Scotland before playing for Edinburgh competitively, which is a

01:00remarkable achievement. And also we've got Ben Mundcaster, another Edinburgh

01:05back row forward and the Glasgow pair Alex Samuel and Tom Jordan. Jordan

01:10qualifies for Scotland after fulfilling the five-year residency requirement

01:14and he can play either standoff or centre and a real asset for the

01:18squad given his form over the last couple of seasons with Glasgow Warriors.

01:23So that's all from Moriame at the moment. There are a couple of notable

01:25omissions from the Scottish dimension before we go. The Gray brothers, Johnny

01:29Gray and Richie Gray, are not part of things this time around and neither is
