With Jamin Davis now released, Brian Mitchell warns of the expectations we put on first round picks and why they are not the be-all and end-all of building a team.

01:05You've got somebody now we got to stop making stories like and I've said this before,

01:10we in this town, we over. Value someone just because they are first or second rounder

01:18and we act like everything else is garbage. OK, look at this football team and look at all the

01:24people that look at a lot of people that's that's bowling. They weren't all first rounders now.

01:28Sure. But it'd be a lot cooler if you hit on your first. It would be cool. But you know what, though?

01:33If you pick a guy in the third round, fourth round, he hits like a first round and you miss

01:38on the first round, it could be better for you sometimes. But just first rounders don't build

01:43no football team ever.
