00:00Welcome to The Elevator.
00:03Hi, I'm Juliana Featherman, and I created Making Authentic Friendships,
00:06an app that enables individuals with special needs to make friends
00:09based on their age, interests, diagnosis, and location.
00:12This is my brother Michael, and he's 26, and he has autism and ADHD.
00:16So I created this for him and the millions of others like him.
00:20We are asking for $200,000 for 20% equity
00:24to turn our 8,000 users into 80,000,
00:27and which one of you wants to join us and help us make the world a better place?
00:33Oh my gosh, I actually love what she's created.
00:36I guess the question that I have is, how big is the market?
00:40Yeah, I agree.
00:41You know, sometimes you can make investments that are out of your heart,
00:44but other times you've got to make it out of your bank account.
00:47Sometimes you make it out of your heart, and it actually pays off.
00:52Denied.
00:53Oh no.
00:55Honestly, I wanted to send her up, but there were so many questions that I still have.
01:00Yeah, you know, I kind of feel dirty for having voted them down.
01:03I say, let's bring her into the boardroom.
01:05Maybe there's something we can do to be helpful that's not $200,000.
01:08I'd be down for that.
01:11I don't think that we're at a point where we would invest $200,000 in your business,
01:16which was your ask.
01:18But on behalf of the Amazon business,
01:22we would like to gift you $10,000 in order to help accelerate your business.
01:27Wow, that would be so amazing. Thank you so much. I so appreciate that.
01:31Hey buddy, can you say thank you?
01:35So nice to meet you.
01:36So nice to meet you.
01:37You're doing really important work.
01:38Thank you so much.
01:39Michael, nice to meet you.
01:41Great to meet you.
01:42Michael, say thank you so much.
01:47Yay, nice buddy. Good job.
