00:00All right, let's go to Los Angeles, a historic night, a father in LeBron James will more

00:09than likely play in an NBA regular season game alongside his son, Bronny James.

00:16Now on the other side, it's the Timberwolves.

00:19As we get ready for this game tonight in LA, the T-Wolves, an ever so slight favorite on

00:24the road in Los Angeles.

00:26Now just a point, only eight cents of difference on the money line.

00:30The Over understands at 220, just a couple of interesting numbers up there on the board.

00:38Anyway, sorry about that, Beckyo, but it's expected to be competitive.

00:42How close to the game will we see in Los Angeles?

00:46I think the Timberwolves win.

00:48I think they win by five plus points.

00:50I think we see the Over tonight.

00:52It's going to be some scoring.

00:53The Lakers team, I'm not expecting a whole lot from them this year.

00:56There's going to be a lot of storylines, different things we have to key in on throughout

01:02the year for various reasons, but this is a Timberwolves team that we have really high

01:06expectations for.

01:07They just traded away Crontham Towns, they bring in Julius Randle.

01:10I'm expecting the Randle role to be similar to the same for Crontham Towns.

01:14We also have Randle going up against his former team.

01:16It's not his most recent former team, but it is one of his former teams.

01:19Let's go to Randle, Over one and a half threes at plus 114.

01:23He's average hitting at least 1.7 threes or more into the last four seasons.

01:27Crontham Towns took a good number of threes last year.

01:30So did Julius Randle.

01:31Randle was often up taking six, seven, eight threes per game.

01:34He's never super efficient with it and it doesn't matter because we don't need him to

01:37be efficient.

01:38We don't need him to hit two out of four.

01:40He can hit two out of eight because the volume will be there and overall the pace of the

01:44game will be there tonight.

01:45Tom, the Lakers grabbing a point and a half at home.

01:49Before we talk about the sideshow and Bronny James here for opening night, what is the

01:52bigger picture for the Lakers?

01:54They really don't bring in a lot of new weapons.

01:56I mean, Dalton connect has been okay going through the preseason, but it's right around

02:00a pick him to make it to the playoffs or miss the playoffs.

02:03I went the latter, but what do you make of LA's chances making a bit of a run?

02:07Yeah, I would say, like you said, it's nearly a pick them, whatever side you're on, it can't

02:12just be like a minor play and this is just how I view things, especially when like the

02:16odds are so close.

02:17Like you have to take a stand and you have to take a stand like early in the season and

02:20probably throughout.

02:21If you want to fade the Lakers time and time again, you think they're going to be too heavily

02:25bad.

02:26You think LeBron's PRA bets are going to be too heavily.

02:29The lines are going to be super inflated.

02:30Start taking under, start feeding the Lakers on a night by night basis.

02:33Like you'd be like, Oh, in the beginning portion of the season, I'll do this.

02:37Then I'll change it to that.

02:38Like you have to have your stance and be like pretty firm with it the entire season.
