00:04in basically a pick-em between the Lakers and the Warriors.

00:10he has not exactly loved handicapping

00:14It is hard to get a feel of what roster

00:16is going to be out there,

00:17what is the motivation for this team,

00:19are they in the playoff race,

00:21hunting down a play-in tournament spot,

00:23all of that good stuff.

00:24Well, it seems as tonight, fully healthy on both sides,

00:27both teams trying to improve their playoff positioning

00:30in the final week and a half of this regular season,

00:33leading to that pick-em number.

00:34So Becky Oye, how fun of a game is this

00:36to handicap tonight in Los Angeles?

00:39Yeah, this is basically the ideal spot, late season NBA.

00:42Like we have two teams, like you said, fully healthy,

00:44they both have very clear motivation to play and win.

00:47We're not dealing with some dramatic lines

00:49as we saw the other day, like,

00:51or not just between these teams,

00:52but dating back with past days,

00:54we're seeing sprites that are like 14, 15 points.

00:56Close game, two teams fighting for spots.

00:59I really like the under in this game,

01:00and it's among those things that you said.

01:02Again, we have teams that are

01:03fighting for playoff positioning.

01:04The Nuggets have lost two in a row,

01:06which means the Lakers have jumped up to the three seed.

01:09Now, I don't think they're going to jump up to the two seed,

01:10I just don't think they'll catch the Rockets at this point,

01:13but the Warriors are playing great ball.

01:15Both teams are still in the top 10

01:16when it comes to defensive rating.

01:17So very clear motivation of playing and winning.

01:20You know, Donnie, we could talk about rotations,

01:23like this is the spot that we know who to trust.

01:25We know everything about these two teams

01:27at this point in the season.

01:28So it's not like we're seeing the Lakers play the Spurs,

01:31even though obviously the Spurs

01:32bring up a nice performance last night,

01:33but we have two teams that want to play defense,

01:36need to come away with a win,

01:37and I'm gonna say take under 229 and a half,

01:39that's where it was last night.

01:40I still think it's playable at 229.
