00:00And there's a lot of change from the odds perspective in the Western Conference entering

00:08this year.

00:09There's a lot of changing faces, of course, for these teams.

00:12Klay Thompson now in Dallas.

00:15Phoenix, though, returns everybody, KD, Devin Booker, and Bradley Buehler back under the

00:20guidance of new head coach Mike Budenholzer.

00:23The Clippers lost Paul George.

00:25Kawhi Leonard is already set to miss multiple weeks to start off this season.

00:29Not great for LA, and the Warriors look a little bit different.

00:34The Lakers seem a little bit older with LeBron James entering year number 22.

00:39Dubs, you saw those Western Conference title odds.

00:42It's not the teams we have expected to win the West in the last three to five years.

00:46It's those teams that have the young cores on the come up.

00:50OKC, the favorites, Denver right there, Minnesota and Dallas.

00:55Those are the four best places to win the Western Conference ground entering this season.

00:59Yeah, we know what we're going to get from the Nuggets there at plus 500.

01:04They're certainly going to be in the mix.

01:05They're bankable.

01:06They've got the best player in the association there, I would say, in the joke of the big

01:10fella.

01:11But take a look at the top of the board.

01:12OKC, I mean, what a standout year.

01:15What a breakout campaign they had for Shea Gilgis, Alexander, SGA, partnering them up

01:19with the likes of Chet Holmgren.

01:21They lose Josh Giddy, the star Aussie, going across to Chicago, but they're certainly not

01:26going to take a backwards step.

01:27But at plus 310, it's a sure price to type your money for a very long season.

01:32I have reservations about the Timwells, Minnesota.

01:34I thought that one-two punch was certainly there with Cat and the Ant-Man.

01:38You've still got, obviously, Big Rudy targeting the boards, but that is a massive loss.

01:42A great addition there if you're a Knicks fan, but certainly not good for Minnesota

01:46in trying to make another run.

01:48They were the young team that I felt just caught a couple of the old guard off guard

01:54there, if you will.

01:55They're playing with a lot of confidence and momentum going into the playoffs.

01:59I think they could be a bit of a hangover coming back year two for a couple of those

02:03big combos.

02:05And taking a look a little further down the board, I think the price play here could be

02:08out in the desert with the Phoenix Suns.

02:10You take a look at who they roll back, I mean, Bradley Beal, if he can find that groove again.

02:15You've still got Dee Book, one of the best in the business, KD.

02:18You've got Grayson Allen, who's obviously been in the weights room on the offseason.

02:22This is a market and a price that I would absolutely look towards playing the Phoenix

02:26Suns.

02:27I'm not going to touch the top of the board at plus 310 because the only way that can

02:31go is pear-shaped and then south in the wrong direction.

02:33And some of these other aging sides, it's really tough in trying to have confidence

02:37in the Lakers.

02:38You know, Dalton Kinect, I guess that's a nice addition if he can become that high scorer

02:44for the Lakers night in, night out.

02:46But when you've got aging superstars like Anthony Davis, LeBron James, it's only a matter

02:50of time before Father Time brings their campaign undone.

02:53For the Clippers, it's really tough to know what you're getting at this point with Kawhi

02:57Leonard, if he's even going to come back this season or what's going on on that side of

03:01things.

03:02And obviously, the Golden State Warriors, Steph Splash losing, you know, that one-two

03:07punch.

03:08Klay Thompson over there with the Mavericks.

03:09So it's a new look in the West.

03:12The old guard just continued to age and I think the Phoenix Suns, Benny, you've highlighted,

03:17could be the price pickup at plus $9.50.
