00:05minus 195 favorite to win the Western Conference crown. The price on the Warriors getting longer

00:11and longer by the day without Steph Curry in the fold. And Donnie, when Steph Curry got injured

00:17early in that second quarter of game number one earlier this week, I could not bet the series

00:23price live. Of course, it was not available on the FanDuel Sportsbook, but I wanted some action

00:27on the Timberwolves thinking they were now in pole position to win this series. So I bet Minnesota

00:32at a plus 360 price to win the Western Conference crown, hoping for a juicier number in that

00:38conference final series, more than likely against OKC, slightly juicier than it is now. Not quite

00:45as juicy as it was entering game two. It was plus 390, but the T-Wolves now the second best

00:50price at plus 330. What do you make of those Western Conference title odds? What I make is

00:55that makes sense, right? Because you're anticipating the Golden State Warriors. If you want to take a

00:5813-1 flyer, that Steph's going to miraculously recover. Or the Golden State Warriors can win

01:03this series without him and he's healthy and ready for the Western Conference finals. You've got a

01:06great price at 13-1. That won't be what the price would be if they do make it there and Steph Curry

01:11is available. But you're taking a leap of faith. The same thing with the Denver Nuggets. You love the

01:15fact they won game number one. You just hate the fact that they got beat by almost 50 points in game

01:19number two to sort of set it back. But understand this too. Like the preconceived notion that we have

01:24the favorites in the NBA are just supposed to get 4-0 sweeps all the way through so they play real

01:28competition in the Eastern or Western Conference finals and the NBA finals. Like these are good

01:33basketball teams. The Denver Nuggets have a championship pedigree with the best player on the

01:36planet. They went one and one. Like, oh man, what's wrong with OKC? Lost game number one. Like this happens

01:41all the time. Good basketball teams are going to beat other good basketball teams. That's why you play

01:46seven games so the cream can rise to the top. And it certainly looks like it's going to do that

01:50with OKC. Do I want to take OKC at a minus 195 price? Not necessarily. But they're markedly better

01:55than the Timberwolves and seemingly on the Nuggets, even though that series is only one to one. I don't

02:00want to take the Nuggets at an eight to one price. I don't want to take the Warriors at a 13 to one

02:03price. We'll talk about the Eastern Conference in just a little bit. But these numbers seem

02:07appropriate here. Like Minnesota, I think you can pencil them in to the Western Conference finals,

02:12which is why they're at a 330 price. The expectation is they've already beat the Warriors. So

02:15that number is not going to change all that much until you get into the Western Conference finals.

02:20And if it is OKC, who, let's just say, wins in a gentleman's sweep, those prices would be

02:24appropriate here. But I agree exactly where these price points at right now for the Western Conference.
